Welcome to district 87

West Farms, Van Nest, Parkchester, Unionport, Castle Hill, I’m running for NY State Assembly to be your voice in Albany.  With your help, I will represent you and make sure that your needs are addressed.

Voter Registration

There are over 50,000 registered Democrats living in our district.  Last year, less than 11k voted in the primaries to nominate a candidate for NY State Assembly.  We need to increase voter turnout.  Everyone who is able to vote should be registered and everyone who is registered to vote should be involved in the process.  We have the power to make changes in our community, but the only way to do so is participating in the system.  Now a lot of politicians don’t want you to vote.  They stay in power by pushing the narrative that your voice doesn’t matter so why bother voting them out.  That’s not what I’m about.  I want to see you at the voting booth.  I want you to bring your kids, so they grow up knowing the value and power of their voice.  This needs to be second nature to us.

You cannot vote in the Democratic primary unless you are registered as a Democrat.  Please understand, there are a lot of people who vote every general election, but they cannot vote in the primaries because they didn’t choose a party.  I don’t want you turned away at the voting booth when you come to the vote because you didn’t select a party.

I’m providing several links below so you can make sure you’re good to go on election day.
